Crott is a local raw milk dairy cheese, produced with mountain milk coming from the upper Valchiavenna where the cows of the alpine brown breed are fed with green and hay fodder..
The processing technique is very traditional: freshly milked whole cow's milk, still warm, processed raw to preserve the precious flora according to ancient rules handed down over time, thus obtaining a fine artisanal product with unmistakable fragrances, scents and flavours.
As a guarantee of authenticity, the name is indelibly stamped on a plate at the time of production.
